Course Objectives
On completion of this course, learner will have the knowledge and application skills in using a spreadsheet application at an advanced level. The skills include maintaining complex spreadsheets, using complicated functions of various types, and using auditing techniques to check for errors.
Pre-requisites
- Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4 (Sec 2);
- Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ WPL Level 4 (Sec 2)
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ WPN Level 4 (Sec 2)
- The minimum age of course participants should be 21 years
- Working basic experience with spreadsheets
- Able to enter data into worksheets
- Use and format cells, rows and columns
- Write simple formulas such as SUM, AVERAGE as well as
- Manage files

Criteria:
- Applicant must either be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore and;
- Applicant must be at least 21 years old and;
- Applicant must achieve at least 75% attendance, and pass all examinations/assessments and;
- Applicant is taking the course for the first time
Avantus reserves the right to charge the full course fee (without subsidy) if any of the conditions above are not met.
SSG Funding Validity Period
04 April 2023 - 03 April 2027
Singapore Citizens aged 25 years and above will be able to utilize their Skillsfuture Credits to offset against nett fee payable
