Course Learning Outcome

Upon completion of course, learners will be able to:


  • Use SAS Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide to write and submit SAS programs.
  •  Access SAS, Microsoft Excel, and text data
  • Explore and validate data
  • Prepare data by subsetting rows and computing new columns
  • Analyze and report on data
  • Export data and results to Excel, PDF, and other formats
  • Use SQL in SAS to query and join tables

Pre-requisites
  • Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) level 6; and
  • Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ WPL level 6; and
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ WPN level 6
  • The minimum age of course participants should be 21 years
  • Experience using computers hardware, operating systems like Microsoft Windows and file management
  • Have basic familiarity using software applications and able to navigate general software interfaces

Criteria(s):

  • Applicant must either be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore and;
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years old and;
  • Applicant must achieve at least 75% attendance, and pass all examinations/assessments and;
  • Applicant is taking the course for the first time
