Course Overview
This course will quickly get you started with compelling data driven interactive reports with Microsoft Power BI. No prior experience is needed but a good background with Excel will launch you straight into this easy to use data visualisation tool. Our 2 day course will show you quick ways to design and deliver highly usable multi-platform reports that will help drive decision making and reporting in your organisation.

Course Learning Outcome
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Connect data from different sources to Power BI
- Analyse data relationships and patterns to derive insights
- Develop data hierarchy to prioritise and describe key insights
- Create formulas to model and visualise data using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
- Use appropriate visuals to enhance effectiveness of data models and visualisations
- Publish and distribute data stories and reports
- Prepare data sets for cloud integration and scheduled refreshes
Pre-requisites
Ideally be at least N level graduates, possess the ability to use basic functions in Excel, and have at least one year of working experience in a role that uses computers at work.

Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG) - WSQ Certifiable Funding
Criteria:
- Applicant must either be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore and;
- Applicant must be at least 21 years old and;
- Applicant must achieve at least 75% attendance, and pass all examinations/assessments and;
- Applicant is taking the course for the first time
Avantus reserves the right to charge the full course fee (without subsidy) if any of the conditions above are not met.
SSG Funding Validity Period
19 December 2023 - 18 December 2025
Singapore Citizens aged 25 years and above will be able to utilize their Skillsfuture Credits to offset against nett fee payable
